I am NOT AT ALL surprised...and like Ken said above "but at least they're consistent."

Commissioner Patterson went right along with Commissioner Cooper's vote it's been that way every sense she was she came into office back in March of 2005. I could say more but my mother told me if I couldn't say anything nice then don't say anything at all!

It's sad for Hughesville that I know. Most know my stand on saving a tree and if you were to come down to my house in Nanjemoy I have 7 to 10 dear in my back yard every night. I do hope that everyone keeps me in mind and that you give me a hand in my run for District 2 seat which Commissioner Patterson now holds. Please pass my name on to other's in your e-mails that you send out and when your out and about tell others about me. You know I came to the meetings and also gave my 3 mins of allowed talk to the Commissioners so most again know where I stand on issues like this. Getting the word out about me again is the main thing for 2010 Election.

I need everyones HELP.

Thank you :)

Commissioner Hodge not being present to vote, how appropriate.

Tells me he thought it was not an important issue to be present for...

Apathy from an elected official is pathetic.

Figures...the fix was in from the start. When Fink held negotiations with Chaney and NOT with any Hughesville residents, it sent a clear message that the decision had been made, and the details just had to be worked out.

Just another example that the good old buddy "system" is alive and well...

Chaney doesn't have to live with the repercussions of his actions, nor do the Commissioners - i.e. Cooper has a "home" in St. Mary's and Hodge has Delaware.

This is further proof, that the Comprehensive Plan is a worthless document, one that should be relegated to the burn pile.

Just add this to the long list of boneheaded and questionable "decisions" handed down by these second rate, two bit political hacks!!

For those who don't know, Community Commercial Zoning is what you see up and down Rt. 301. Just what you'd expect to find on a secondary road in a rural village, huh? (Heavy Sarcasm)

I am frankly surprised but at least they're consistent. I would have expected two of them to vote no for political reasons but savvy they're not.

Very sad for Hughesville.
