Positive Feedback from the Inaugural Hughesville 10K/Festival

I'm happy to report that the Tri County Animal Shelter adopted out all the dogs brought to the festival, with the exception of the little guy below.  He is a cross between a pug and a beagle- the best of both- without the annoyances like  braying like the beagle, or snuffing like a pug. He is 2 years old, but still curious- he was a stray and he really wasn't trained well- but he is improving.

The Hughesville Running Club would love to hear from other vendors/sponsors who have experienced a positive impact as a result of the festival!

I was able to meet two of the wine growers in the county and am working towards providing labels for their wine bottles.

Remembrances Antiques had a GOOD day during the festival. Had a lot of visitors and quite a few additional sales. Also, my husband - Spence - Wood Contractors - is going to see a client tonight from the festival. Lets keep up the good work. Hughesville will be recognized!!!!

Congrats and 'thank you!' to the festival committee for an excellent job. Even though turnout was light and the weather chilly, it was great to meet some local business owners and neighbors. Maryland Pride Nursery was pleased to collect $74 for the Food Bank as a result of our raffle. Looking forward to the next festival!
