812 Pounds!!!
That's how much we collected! 812 lbs. of food for the Southern Maryland Food Bank during the Inaugural Hughesville 10K/Festival! Plus, an approximate, additional $50.00 cash donation. The day was perfect weather-wise! We had 130 runners participate in the 10K/5K Run and over 2 dozen children participated in the Kids 1K Fun Run. Total attendance throughout the day was somewhere between 300-400 people. We also raised $1,000 to be donated to the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department and another $1,000 to be donated to the Hughesville Baseball Association! Thanks, to all for making this day a GREAT SUCCESS!!
