As part of a 17 acre center being developed by Ray Mertz of Manekin, LLC, Safeway Inc. plans to open a grocery store in Charlotte Hall, MD. Construction is expected to begin in about six months. So far, no other tenants have leased space, but that should change as the date for construction nears.
